Bio as a lifestyle
`` The decision to operate in a responsible and environmentally friendly has been conditioned by love for my family that I will not in any way poison. My work in the country is limited to being the least invasive as possible with plants. Everything starts with the winter pruning, I try to run a waning moon.
In the old vineyard and in Montegonzi I keep the soil covered with grass and wild grasslands where there are many varieties such as clover, chamomile, dandelion, horsetail and many other; I try to cutting the grass only when it is absolutely necessary to increase the organic matter to be left on the ground. This is a way to increase the humus in my land.
In new plants I chose to help the growth of plants with legumes: Field bean green manure to increase the supply of nitrogen to help the rooting and growth of small plants; also with the harrow work in alternate rows or all based on the vineyard and the slope of the soil.
For phytosanitary treatments I use copper and sulfur assisted by propolis, essential oils and algae alternating them. Since I started using them I feel that plants are more luxuriant and respond better to the same treatments. This procedure allows me to reduce the doses per hectare of rame.``
